World Whiskey Society's Reserve Collection continues in 2026 with a Strathmill single malt drawn from a single hogshead laid down in 1990 at the Strathmill Distillery in Keith, part of the Diageo portfolio. Strathmill is rarely seen on its own, with the vast majority of its output long reserved for J&B blends, making this 32 year old bottling a genuine rarity for collectors. The whisky is presented non-chill filtered with no added colour, housed in a Baccarat crystal decanter finished with a laser-engraved medallion and a zamak crown closure, arriving in a display box with a signed certificate of authenticity. It is released alongside companion expressions Aultmore 32 Year and Macallan 33 Year in the same Reserve Collection series.

The nose opens with lemon and pineapple leading a sweet, fruit-forward profile, joined by oak and honeyed spice that speak to more than three decades in cask. On the palate it turns powerful and layered, with ginger biscuit, turmeric, fresh lemon, pineapple, sage, and Victoria sponge cake rounding into sweet honey. The finish is medium in length with a well-rounded mouthfeel accented by oak and honeyed spice, a fitting close to a single-cask whisky built on depth rather than intensity.
