Color: Both a deep amber after twelve years in oak.

Nose: Weller 12: caramel, vanilla, dried fruit and soft wheat. Eagle Rare 12: toffee, orange peel, leather and honey.

Palate: Weller 12 is soft, sweet and rounded; Eagle Rare 12 is drier, more oak-driven with a rye spice edge. Taste them back to back.

Finish: Long on both — sweet and gentle on the Weller, dry and elegant on the Eagle Rare.
