Tomatin 50 Year Old Single Malt Scotch
Tomatin 50 Year Old is a half-century-matured Highland single malt from the Tomatin distillery, set in the hills south of Inverness, Scotland. Whisky of this age survives only in vanishingly small quantities, and a fifty-year statement stands among the oldest releases the distillery has ever offered — a bottling drawn from stock laid down decades before most of today's single malts existed.
Fifty years in oak build a deep mahogany dram of unusual quiet and concentration. Ripe tropical fruit and old-cellar beeswax rise first, giving way to honeyed orchard fruit, dark chocolate, and soft antique spice on the palate, with the oak fully woven into the whisky rather than sitting on top of it. The finish lingers for minutes, drying slowly through dried fruit and polished wood.
This is a centerpiece bottle — the kind acquired to mark a fiftieth birthday or anniversary, to anchor a serious collection, or to be opened once for a room that will remember it. It sits naturally beside the other aged single malts and rare bottles in the Gifted Pour scotch collection. Ships to most US states. Adult-signature required at delivery.
