The Whistler P.X. I Love You Single Malt is a testament to the luxurious influence of Pedro Ximénez sherry casks on exceptional Irish single malt whiskey. Crafted from 100% malted barley, this whiskey begins its journey in ex-bourbon casks, imparting initial sweetness and depth. It is then finished for at least 9 months in ex-PX sherry casks, where it absorbs the rich flavors and aromas characteristic of this fortified wine. The result is a whiskey of decadent complexity, balancing dried fruits, sweet sugars, and a subtle touch of oak.

Nose: The aroma is rich and inviting with a fantastically delicious sherry influence. Notes of dried berries, raisins, cherries, and golden raisins (sultanas) dominate, complemented by candied orange peel and sticky brown sugar (demerara sugar).

Palate: The palate opens with a wood-forward character, revealing an incredibly viscous yet crisp texture. Flavors of dried fruits and brown sugar from the nose are enhanced by nuances of walnut, zesty citrus, and a hint of leather, adding layers of complexity.

Finish: Walnut and dried fruits linger into the finish, accompanied by a subtle wood prickle and a hint of dark chocolate. The finish is lengthy, dry, and satisfying, leaving a lasting impression of the whiskey's intricate flavors.
