The Last Drop Hors D’Age Petite Champagne Cognac
Release 26 from The Last Drop is a single estate Cognac from the distinguished Petite Champagne terroir, marking only the fifth Cognac release by The Last Drop in 13 years. Distilled in 1950 at a family-owned distillery on the banks of the Charente River, this Cognac offers a fascinating glimpse into a bygone era, crafted during the post-World War II recovery period. Distilled by the 8th generation of the family using a traditional wood-fired alembic still, this rare spirit remained in its original oak casks until it was discovered by The Last Drop. Embodying the philosophy that age is a quality rather than just a number, this Cognac's seven decades of aging have imbued it with exceptional maturity while preserving its vibrant freshness and vitality.
