Initially aged in traditional oak casks, this whisky experienced a transformation when it was transferred into a cask previously used to mature an "overproof" Jamaican Rum. Over 18 months in this rum-saturated barrel, the whisky developed an additional layer of complexity and strength, resulting in a multi-faceted and supremely sophisticated spirit.
