Meticulously selected from the very finest Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, and chosen at their precise moment of perfection by Master Blender Rachel Barrie, this 40-year-old expression delivers unparalleled richness and complexity. Bottled at cask strength, it captures the whisky in its most authentic and powerful form—opulent, profound, and timeless.

Appearance
Intense black ochre with deep mahogany hues and a radiant, viscous sheen.

Nose
A luxuriously layered bouquet of black cherry, stewed plum, and ripe blackberry. Indulgent notes of sherry-soaked chocolate gateau unfold alongside aromatic café elixir, polished oak, and hints of antique leather. Subtle spices and dark cocoa deepen the aromatic experience.

Palate
An intense crescendo of blackcurrant and bramble compote surges forward, followed by luscious prune and raisin wine. Velvety cinnamon-laced chocolate espresso weaves through the palate, complemented by toasted oak, dark molasses, and a whisper of clove. Full-bodied, deeply textured, and magnificently structured.

Finish
