The journey begins with maturation in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, and from there, the liquid is divided into small batch ex-bourbon casks, Matusalem oloroso sherry casks, Madeira barrels, Marsala casks, Port pipes, and Cabernet Sauvignon wine barriques. These individual maturation journeys culminate in an in-situ sherry butt, where they merge to create The Dalmore King Alexander III.
