Distilled from 100% malted rye and aged for 13 years in once-used, charred American oak barrels originally coopered for Old Potrero, this Bottled-in-Bond expression showcases the culmination of over a decade of patience and craft. Released annually in honor of the city's recovery after the 1906 earthquake, the 2023 edition arrives in a commemorative box complete with a distinguished metal bottle topper, echoing the resilience of the AP Hotaling whiskey warehouse that famously survived the disaster.

Aroma:
Elegant and refined, with bright citrus zest layered over warm baking spices and the rich, woody essence of sandalwood.

Palate:
A gentle sweetness opens the experience, followed by soft stone fruits like apricot and peach. A bright liveliness dances mid-palate with a creamy undertone of clove and vanilla, touched lightly by cracked peppercorn.

Finish:
