Color: Both natural colour: the Sherry Oak a deep mahogany, the Double Cask a burnished gold.

Nose: Sherry Oak: dried fruit, ginger, clove and rich sherry. Double Cask: honey, vanilla, orange and gentler spice.

Palate: The Sherry Oak is dense and Christmas-cake rich; the Double Cask is smoother and sweeter with American oak vanilla.

Finish: Long on both — drier and spicier on the Sherry Oak.
