Lost Lore Tequila Añejo
Lost Lore Tequila Añejo is produced at NOM 1414, the Feliciano Vivanco y Asociados distillery in Arandas, in the Los Altos highlands of Jalisco, under Master Distiller Sergio Cruz. The tequila is made entirely from 100% Tequilana Weber agave grown in the highlands, cooked slowly in stone and brick ovens, crushed on a roller mill, and fermented with champagne yeast and deep well water before a double distillation through copper pots. The añejo is rested for more than twelve months in used American white oak whiskey barrels, with no additives, and each bottle carries a numbered lot and bottle label.
The nose opens with rich blue agave alongside vanilla, caramel, and butterscotch, layered with toasted oak, baking spice, dried fruit, and a whisper of chocolate. On the palate, agave sweetness carries vanilla, honey, and toffee into cinnamon and nutmeg, with a medium-to-full, silky texture from the extended barrel rest. The finish is long and elegant, with lingering oak, caramel, and spice settling into a balanced, softly closing sweetness.
The barrel-forward profile and numbered-bottle presentation make this añejo a strong addition for collectors building out a highland-agave lineup, and it pairs naturally with Gifted Pour' other aged tequila selections for anyone comparing barrel programs. Ships to most US states. Adult-signature required at delivery.
