Heaven Hill 9 Year Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey 90th Anniversary is a celebratory limited release honoring nine decades of Kentucky bourbon-making from Heaven Hill, the largest family-owned and operated distilled spirits producer in the United States. Distilled in Bardstown and barreled on December 13, 2015, this expression uses Heaven Hill's iconic low-rye mashbill of 78% corn, 10% rye, and 12% malted barley, and matures in a combination of standard and heavy-char charred American oak barrels. Expect a deep, fully mature nose: caramel, vanilla bean, seasoned oak, dark cherry, and baking spice with a distinct heavy-char note that speaks to the barrel program.
