Color: Blanco and 108 High Proof are crystal clear; Reposado is pale straw; Blanco de Madera a very light gold from brief wood rest.

Nose: Blanco: cooked agave, wet stone and citrus. 108: the same agave with more pepper and intensity. Reposado: agave with vanilla and light oak. Blanco de Madera: fresh agave with a faint new-oak sweetness.

Palate: Felipe Camarena's G4 is clean, mineral, additive-free tequila made with rain and spring water. The Blanco is bright and peppery; the 108 is the same spirit at high proof — bigger and oilier; the Reposado softens with wood; the Blanco de Madera keeps the blanco brightness with a whisper of oak.

Finish: Long, clean and peppery on all four; the Reposado is the softest, the 108 the longest.
