Nose

Rich dried fruit — raisin, fig, and dark cherry — opens alongside warm oak and a thread of toasted vanilla. Subtle Marsala wine influence adds a gentle oxidative, nutty quality that draws the nose in deeper.

Palate

Full-bodied with toffee, baked banana, and molasses anchoring the core. Baking spice — cinnamon, allspice, and a whisper of clove — weaves through layers of dried apricot and charred oak. The pot still character gives the mid-palate a firm, almost resinous grip that distinguishes it from lighter column-still rums.

Finish

Long and warming with lingering dark fruit, toasted oak, and a faint trace of espresso. The Marsala cask influence circles back on the tail, leaving a mellow, wine-touched sweetness that fades slowly.
