Four bottled-in-bond releases from Buffalo Trace's Colonel E.H. Taylor line: the Small Batch that anchors the range, the uncut Barrel Proof, the Straight Rye and a Single Barrel. All four in one box, all four at the same time — which is the hard part.

Built for the collector who has been hunting these one at a time.

Ships together in one box from our San Diego shop. Priced below buying each bottle separately — the compare-at price is what the set costs one bottle at a time.

Color: Small Batch and Rye are bright amber; Barrel Proof and Single Barrel are darker copper.

Nose: Small Batch: caramel corn, butterscotch and vanilla. Barrel Proof: dark caramel, dried fruit and toasted oak. Straight Rye: black pepper, mint and citrus. Single Barrel: honey, oak and baking spice.

Palate: Four bottled-in-bond expressions from one distillery: the Small Batch is the balanced everyday pour; the Barrel Proof is the same bourbon uncut, dense with caramel and oak; the Straight Rye is a 100% rye — spicy, dry and clean; the Single Barrel is deeper and more oak-forward.

Finish: Medium and sweet on the Small Batch, very long on the Barrel Proof, spicy and dry on the Rye, long and oaky on the Single Barrel.
