Doragonfurawa Dragon Flower is a Japanese malt whisky release from World Whiskey Society, imported by Aiko Importers. The name is the katakana rendering of "Dragon Flower," a symbol tied to love, passion, positive energy, and warding off bad luck, and the bottle carries that theme through to the packaging: a faceted red glass decanter with a silver-embossed dragon, hammered side panels, and a medallion stopper, presented in a black-and-red diamond box. No distillery is disclosed for this release.

The whisky is matured a minimum of three years before finishing in ex-cognac casks made of French oak, and it's bottled at 49% ABV (98 proof), the highest strength in its release group. The nose leads with fresh apple and tropical fruit over vanilla bean and a trace of smoke, while the palate carries spice, leather, and butter candy alongside star anise, toffee apple, baked pear, fresh mint, and scattered almond. The finish runs long, soft, and creamy, with the cognac cask's fruit character lingering after each sip.
