Color: Blanco is clear, Reposado is pale gold, Añejo is amber, 1942 is deep gold.

Nose: Blanco: fresh agave, citrus and black pepper. Reposado: vanilla and cooked agave. Añejo: butterscotch, honey and oak. 1942: warm caramel, vanilla bean, tropical fruit and a touch of oak.

Palate: The full Don Julio range in one set. Blanco is crisp and bright; Reposado is smooth and lightly sweet after eight months in oak; Añejo goes eighteen months and turns rich; 1942 rests at least two and a half years and is the softest and most luxurious, all caramel and cooked agave.

Finish: Clean on Blanco, sweet on Reposado, long and warm on Añejo, very long and silky on 1942.
