Dictador Generations en Lalique 80
Dictador Generations en Lalique 80 is an ultra-rare collector's release from Dictador, the Colombian distillery in Cartagena known for some of the oldest rum stocks in the world. For this release, Dictador partnered with the French crystal house Lalique, presenting the rum in a handcrafted Lalique crystal decanter — a meeting of long-aged Colombian rum and one of the most storied names in crystal artistry.
The rum itself shows the depth that defines Dictador's extra-aged expressions: dark roasted coffee and cacao layered over caramel and toffee, with dried fig, raisin, and toasted oak emerging as it opens in the glass. The palate is dense and slow-moving, carrying molasses, dark chocolate, and baking spice into a finish that lingers with espresso, leather, and gentle wood smoke.
Releases at this level rarely surface outside private collections, and the Lalique decanter makes this as much an object for display as a rum for the glass — a landmark acquisition for a serious rum collection or a once-in-a-lifetime gift. Pair it with other collectible rums and rare bottles from the Gifted Pour Rare Bottles selection. Ships to most US states. Adult-signature required at delivery.
