This exceptional release is the second installment in Dewar’s prestigious Collector’s Series, celebrating Scotland’s most iconic whisky regions. Paying homage to the Upper Highlands, this edition is finished in rare Pedro Ximénez sherry casks that previously held Royal Brackla Single Malt, imbuing it with a regal richness and layered complexity.

Built upon a reserved allotment of the 37-Year-Old blend from the previous year, each new edition of Double Double 38 carries a legacy forward, preserving the character of its predecessors. The result is a whisky of deep harmony, elegance, and supreme smoothness—crafted for the most discerning collectors and connoisseurs.

Color:
Rich mahogany with golden chestnut hues, glinting with age and depth.

Nose:
A delicate bouquet of white flowers and candied citrus peel rises gently from the glass. Underneath, soft layers of toasted almonds, plum compote, and a touch of floral smoke hint at the sherry finish and Highland origin.

Palate:
Refined and luxurious. Creamy vanilla and toasted cereals lead into dried figs, dark chocolate shavings, and a sweet almond essence. Velvety smooth on the tongue with hints of malted grains and a subtle PX-induced richness, this whisky unfolds slowly and deliberately, revealing new layers with each sip.

Finish:
