Combier Espresso Liqueur comes from Distillerie Combier, the historic French maker founded in Saumur in 1834 and known for its orange liqueur and long-running fruit and coffee liqueur tradition. This espresso expression is a recent addition to the Combier range, made in France and only now reaching a small number of US retailers.
The liqueur leads with dark-roasted espresso character, layered with notes of bittersweet chocolate and a touch of roasted nuttiness, finishing with a lingering coffee bitterness balanced against a smooth, sweetened base.
A useful bottle for anyone building a home cocktail bar, and a strong candidate for espresso martinis or coffee-forward after-dinner pours. Pair it with other Gifted Pour liqueurs and amaros to round out a bar cart. Ships to most US states. Adult-signature required at delivery.
