It is triple-distilled and aged 10 years in bourbon and sherry casks, then finished in Amarone wine casks, an Italian red wine cask style known for rich dried-fruit character.

The Amarone finish adds dark red fruit and a touch of wine-driven spice on top of the soft, orchard-fruit and honeyed malt character of triple-distilled Bushmills.
