From 1920 to 1933 the distillery now called Buffalo Trace was one of six licensed to bottle medicinal whiskey, and this 2026 set recreates another chapter of that archive, down to the prescription cut-out on each carton. Inside: Henry Watterson Kentucky Straight Rye at 140.6 proof, uncut and unfiltered with intense rye spice, citrus peel and cedar; Kentucky River, a 100 proof blend of Kentucky straight whiskeys with honeyed grain, vanilla and baked apple; John G. Carlisle Kentucky Straight Bourbon at 100 proof with rye spice, toasted nuts and orchard fruit; Walter B. Duffy, a 107 proof blend of 10 and 14 year Kentucky straight bourbons with graham cracker, dried fig and date; and Cove Spring, an uncut 120.2 proof wheated bourbon with red cherry, toasted coconut and sweet corn.
