Balcones Texas Single Malt Rum Cask Finish is a bold and adventurous expression that bridges two beloved spirits—whiskey and rum—within the heart of Texas. Crafted with Balcones' signature malted barley and aged just under three years, this single barrel selection finishes in barrels that once held Balcones’ own Texas Rum, infusing the whiskey with deep, tropical, and spice-laden character.

Bottled at cask strength, this single malt is unapologetically rich, expressive, and layered. It’s a one-of-a-kind release that merges the luscious intensity of Texas grain with the dark sweetness and exotic complexity of rum-soaked oak.

Color:
Deep amber with golden copper undertones.

Nose:
An aromatic feast of caramelized sugar, cherry cola, and banana bread. Additional notes of sassafras, pistachio, peach cobbler, and peanut brittle bring a sense of warmth and baked richness.

Palate:
