World Whiskey Society's Reserve Collection No. 07, nicknamed the "Gothic Edition" for its gargoyle-adorned decanter, is a 20 year American light whisky distilled in Indiana from a 99% corn / 1% malted barley mash bill. The liquid spends its final stretch finishing across six different cask types — Awamori, Cognac, Madeira, PX Sherry, Tawny Port and Tequila — before bottling by World Whiskey Society Co. in Pendergrass, Georgia, non-chill filtered and with no added color. The release was built with cigar pairing in mind, and the run is limited to 4,200 bottles.

The extended cask finishing shows in a deep amber pour with a nose of figs, raisins, caramel and toffee alongside aged tobacco leaf, raspberry and black cherry. On the palate, roasted nuts and dark chocolate meet dried plum, white grape and peach, with citrus and herbal notes brightening the finish. The finish itself runs long, carrying dried fruit, dark caramel and honeycomb into light smoke, cinnamon, citrus zest and oak.
