This single cask expression comes from World Whiskey Society's Reserve Collection, drawn from spirit distilled at The Macallan Distillery in Speyside in 1990. Matured for 33 years in a single refill hogshead, cask number 1121, the whisky was bottled in 2024 at natural cask strength, non-chill-filtered and free of added colouring, and presented in a rose-gold metallised Gothic-style decanter with a crown stopper, housed in a black leather display case with an accompanying certificate. Only 127 bottles were filled from this cask, with this bottle numbered 1 of 127.

The whisky pours a deep gold from its natural colour and opens with honeyed malt and ripe stone fruit, layered with subtle floral tones, dried citrus peel, acacia honey, marzipan and a whisper of oak. On the palate it is rich and elegant, offering baked pear, creamy vanilla, semi-sweet grist and ulmo honey alongside gentle spice and hints of antique wood. The finish is long, warm and slightly dry, carrying butterscotch, toasted almond and persistent dry vanilla notes toward a bittersweet close.
