Socorro Tequila Añejo
Socorro Tequila Añejo is produced at NOM 1610, Casa Tequilera Dinastía Arandina (also home to Casa Camarena), in Arandas, Los Altos, Jalisco. The tequila is made from 100% Blue Weber agave, using only water, agave, and yeast, and the brand states it is additive-free. Piñas are cooked in a traditional brick horno for roughly two days, crushed on a roller mill, fermented for 96 hours with deep-well water, and double distilled before aging.
Aged up to 14 months in new, lightly-charred American white oak and left non-chill filtered, this añejo pours a dark amber color. The nose brings rich caramelized oak alongside the earthy sweetness of cooked agave, with subtle hints of vanilla and spice. On the palate, layers of aged oak, vanilla, and toffee unfold with a gentle smokiness, while hints of five-spice add a refined complexity, balanced by lingering sweetness and cocoa on the finish.
Socorro Tequila Añejo earned a Silver medal at the 2025 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, and its Batch 1016 was rated a B+ by Drinkhacker — credentials worth noting for the collector's shelf. If you're building out an añejo lineup, pair it alongside other Los Altos expressions in the Gifted Pour tequila selection. Ships to most US states. Adult-signature required at delivery.
