Skorpios 1618 Tequila Joven
Skorpios 1618 Tequila Joven is produced at NOM 1522, Hacienda de Oro in Amatitán, in the heart of Jalisco's Los Valles region. The joven expression blends unaged Blanco with a portion of Añejo aged 22 to 24 months in American oak, built from single-estate agaves harvested at 7 to 10 years of maturity. Production runs through brick ovens, a roller mill, open-air fermentation, and double distillation in copper pot stills, with no additives, and the bottle itself is a turquoise-glazed ceramic piece shaped like a coiled snake.
The color runs pale straw, with a nose of citrus, orange, and fresh-cooked agave carried by a whisper of oak. On the palate, Blanco brightness interweaves with the oak-driven character of the añejo component, moving through citrus, wood, orange, and earth with a savory olive note underneath. The finish is buttery, clean, earthy, and smooth.
The ceramic snake bottle makes this a standout on a bar cart or as a gift for a collector building out a display of designed tequila packaging, and it pairs well alongside Gifted Pour' other artisanal and single-estate tequila selections for anyone comparing joven and añejo styles side by side. Ships to most US states. Adult-signature required at delivery.
