Savage & Cooke Distillery Mare Island California Bloody Butcher Bottled In Bond Bourbon Whiskey
Savage & Cooke Distillery Mare Island California Bloody Butcher Bottled in Bond Bourbon Whiskey is a rare grain-to-glass bourbon that highlights the bold character of heirloom corn and meticulous California craftsmanship. Produced by Savage & Cooke Distillery and created by winemaker and distiller Dave Phinney, this distinctive release is made using ancient Bloody Butcher corn grown on a carefully selected plot of land in Winters, California.
Bottled at 100 proof under the strict standards of the Bottled in Bond Act, this limited production bourbon was aged for four years in premium Seguin Moreau char #3 oak barrels. With only 44 barrels produced, it delivers a powerful yet refined expression shaped by heirloom grain, controlled grain-to-glass production, and the unique terroir of Northern California.
