Padre Azul Añejo Tequila is produced at NOM 1466, Tequila Tres Mujeres, in Amatitán, Jalisco, under master distiller Erika Sangeado. The añejo rests a minimum of eighteen months in ex-bourbon American oak barrels before bottling, and this release comes in the brand's distinctive 375 ml half-bottle, capped with a skull stopper and dressed in a leather jacket.

The agave-forward base gives way to a rich, barrel-driven profile. Vanilla, cooked agave, bourbon, and toasted oak lead on the nose, while the palate layers in caramel, oak, chocolate, and caramelized nuts with a touch of cinnamon. The finish lingers rich and sweet, carrying dry oak and bourbon character through to the end.
