Nc'nean Organic is the flagship single malt from Nc'nean Distillery, on the remote Morvern peninsula in the West Highlands of Scotland, and one of the first whisky distilleries to reach verified net zero.

It is distilled from 100% organic Scottish barley, with a long, gentle fermentation and slow distillation that keep the spirit delicate and fruity. Maturation is in specially treated STR red wine casks and ex-American whiskey barrels, with a small share of Oloroso sherry casks (roughly 55% / 43% / 2%), which gives the malt its body and soft sweetness. Expect citrus and lemon cheesecake, ripe peach and apricot, then spiced rye bread and gentle oak. VinePair rated it 92 points.

Bottled at 46% ABV (92 proof), non-chill filtered and at natural colour, in a 700 mL bottle made from 100% recycled glass. Certified organic, vegan friendly. Pour it neat, or do it the distillery's way: a Whisky Six, two parts Nc'nean to four parts soda water over plenty of ice with a sprig of fresh mint.
