Nc'nean Cask Strength is the distillery's signature organic single malt in its most natural form: the same recipe as Nc'nean Organic, bottled straight from the vatting at full batch strength. It comes from Nc'nean Distillery on the remote Morvern peninsula in the West Highlands of Scotland, one of the first whisky distilleries to reach verified net zero.

It is distilled from 100% organic Scottish barley, with long mash times, slow fermentations of 65 to 120 hours and gentle distillation that keep the spirit fresh and fruity. Maturation is in specially treated STR (shaved, toasted, re-charred) red wine casks and ex-American whiskey barrels, with a small share of Oloroso sherry casks (roughly 55% / 43% / 2%). The extra strength keeps the house character of tangy lemon, juicy peach and spiced rye bread, with more weight and an oily, bright finish. It was named a Master at The Drinks Business and The Spirits Business Spring Tasting 2024, where the judges praised its depth, complexity and integration of high ABV.

Bottled at cask strength, around 59% ABV (118 proof); each small batch varies slightly. Non-chill filtered and at natural colour, unpeated, certified organic and vegan friendly, in a 700 mL bottle made from 100% recycled glass, presented in a recycled-paper gift tube. Try it neat first, then add a few drops of water to open up the fruit and spice.
