Originally a mill and later transformed into a distillery in 1878, Glen Spey resides in the heart of the village of Rothes, situated near fellow distillery Glenrothes and the renowned whisky still manufacturer, Forsyth's. Glen Spey's production process is known for its characteristic lightness, achieved in part by purifiers on the spirit stills, which redirect vapors for further distillation. This 10-year-old whisky has been aged in smaller barrels, resulting in a fragrant and delicately balanced spirit.
