Color: Honey gold on the 12, deep amber on the 15, rich mahogany on the 18.

Nose: 12: honey, citrus and vanilla. 15: orchard fruit, dried ginger and toasted oak. 18: dried fruit, orange peel, dark chocolate and sherry.

Palate: The 12 is the approachable daily Speyside dram, soft sherry and butterscotch. The 15 steps up the spice and oak with richer fruit. The 18 is the fullest: dense dried fruit, ginger, oak and a long sherry sweetness.

Finish: Medium and sweet on the 12, longer and spicier on the 15, long and warming on the 18.
