The “Le Méal” Blanc 2015 from M. Chapoutier is a profound single-vineyard expression of Marsanne from the famed Hermitage hill in the Rhône Valley. Sourced from the historic Méal hillside—characterized by ancient fluvio-glacial alluvial soils rich in pebbles—this wine reflects both the warmth of the terroir and the concentration of old vines, many over 50 years of age.

Under the visionary leadership of Michel Chapoutier, the estate has championed single-vineyard wines that transparently express terroir. “Le Méal” Blanc stands apart for its richness, complexity, and distinctive reductive character, achieved through meticulous vinification and lees aging in large oak barrels.
