The 2019 Lot No. 1 represents the pinnacle expression of Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley, crafted by the historic Louis M. Martini Winery. Sourced from some of Napa’s most prestigious vineyard sites—including Stagecoach Vineyard, Mount Veeder, Howell Mountain, and Calistoga—this wine is a masterful blend that captures the region’s diversity and intensity.

Composed primarily of Cabernet Sauvignon with small additions of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Malbec, Lot No. 1 is meticulously hand-harvested, sorted, and vinified in small open-top fermenters. It is aged for 21 months in predominantly new French oak (95%), crafted from staves air-dried for 36 months, enhancing both structure and aromatic depth.

The 2019 vintage, shaped by near-perfect growing conditions, delivers a wine of remarkable power, precision, and polish—balancing bold Napa richness with refined elegance.

Appearance: Deep, dark purple with garnet reflections, showcasing concentration and youthful intensity.

Aroma: Highly expressive, opening with crème de cassis, blackcurrant, and black cherry. Layers of green olive, dried fennel root, incense, and subtle leather add complexity, framed by refined new French oak.

Palate: Full-bodied, rich, and velvety, the palate delivers waves of dark fruit—black cherry, plum, and cassis—interwoven with notes of toasted caramel, cocoa, and spice. The texture is expansive and supple, supported by finely structured tannins.

Finish: Exceptionally long and luxurious, with lingering oak nuances, soft dusty tannins, and hints of dark chocolate and spice.
