From the renowned Burgundy producer Louis Latour, this Meursault Premier Cru “Les Poruzots” 2022 is a refined expression of one of the Côte de Beaune’s most celebrated white wine villages, Meursault. Known for its rich, textured Chardonnays, Meursault delivers wines of depth, elegance, and unmistakable character.

The “Poruzots” vineyard, whose name derives from “Porroux” meaning “stony place,” is defined by its limestone-rich soils and favorable southern exposure. These conditions promote optimal ripening while preserving freshness, resulting in wines that balance opulence with precision.

Vinified using traditional Burgundian techniques, the wine undergoes full malolactic fermentation and is aged for 8–10 months in French oak barrels (50% new, medium toast). This careful élevage enhances its creamy texture and layered aromatics, while maintaining vibrancy and finesse.
