Siete Misterios Doba-Yej Mezcal is an exceptional expression crafted from 100% agave Espadín, also known as "Doba-Yej" in Zapotec. This mezcal marks a significant departure from other Siete Misterios offerings, as it’s distilled in copper stills instead of the traditional clay pots, giving it a distinct character. Siete Misterios honors the artisanal techniques of mezcal-making, and this mezcal is milled by a horse-drawn tahona, a labor-intensive process that infuses authenticity into each sip. Made in Oaxaca, batches of Doba-Yej may vary slightly depending on the region they were produced — Yautepec, Santiago Matatlán, San Dionisio, or, in some cases, San Luis del Rio. Each bottle is adorned with a unique label featuring a notable Mexican war hero, representing the rich culture and traditions behind this mezcal.
