In celebration of their 15th anniversary, The Last Drop Distillers have unveiled a limited-edition 40 Year Old Blended Scotch Whiskey. This exceptional blend, crafted by Master Blender Colin JP Scott, epitomizes the relentless pursuit of excellence that defines The Last Drop. This commemorative whiskey includes rare grain whiskies from the now-closed North of Scotland distillery, renowned for its distinctive and flavorsome spirits. Each element of this blend has been meticulously selected to create a truly remarkable whiskey, embodying the legacy and craftsmanship that The Last Drop has championed since its founding by James Espey OBE and Tom Jago in 2008.

Appearance: Rich amber, a testament to its four decades of maturation.

Nose: The nose is a symphony of rich fruitiness, with apricots, pears, and apples taking center stage. This fruity core is enhanced by the sweetness of honey and soft notes of dates, prunes, and vanilla, derived from the ex-bourbon casks. A gentle floral fragrance intermingles with hints of toast and honey, adding layers of complexity.

Palate: The palate is rounded and smooth, presenting a complexity that unfolds with each sip. Dried apricots and figs are complemented by a delicate almond essence.
