The Haynes Vineyard Chardonnay Corazon Coombsville 2020 is a remarkable expression of Napa Valley Chardonnay, crafted from the oldest vines in the Haynes Vineyard, which are also among the oldest Chardonnay vines in Napa Valley. This wine pays homage to the great Burgundies of the late 80s and 90s, combining intense aromatics, minerality, and density. Sourced from the cool-climate Coombsville AVA, the Corazon Chardonnay captures the vineyard's unique terroir, which includes diatomaceous earth and volcanic rock soils. With Nico Cueva, formerly of Kosta Brown, as the winemaker, this single-vineyard Chardonnay is the ultimate expression of Haynes Vineyard's legacy and terroir.

Appearance: Bright golden straw with hints of green, showcasing its youth and vibrancy.

Nose: Intensely aromatic, offering notes of ripe stone fruits like peach and apricot, complemented by fresh citrus, lemon zest, and floral notes of white blossoms. Underlying minerality and subtle oak spices add complexity, evoking a sense of Burgundian finesse.

Palate: The palate is rich and textured with a perfect balance of ripe fruit flavors and a vibrant acidity. Flavors of baked apple, pear, and lemon curd are interwoven with stony minerality, toasted hazelnuts, and a touch of vanilla.
