H. Deringer Bourbon Whiskey pays tribute to Henry Deringer, inventor of the compact Philadelphia Deringer pocket pistol. The gift set pairs two 200ml decanters, each shaped and engraved like a Deringer pistol, with two matching H. Deringer nosing glasses, all presented in a red-velvet-lined lacquered wood box. The bourbon inside is sourced from MGP in Indiana, distilled from a mash bill of roughly 70% corn, 26% rye, and 4% malted barley, and aged a minimum of two years in new charred American white oak. The initial release is limited to 2,987 sets.

The bourbon pours an amber color and opens with caramelized brown sugar, toasted oak, vanilla, and dried fruit on the nose. On the palate it carries rich caramel, dark chocolate, toasted almond, and a current of rye spice, finishing long and warm with lingering vanilla, cinnamon, and a touch of candied sweetness.
