This second release masterfully balances tradition with creativity, showcasing the influence of wine casks in Irish whiskey maturation. Aged for 13 years in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, it undergoes a final 16-month refinement in Recioto della Valpolicella casks. The result is a richly complex whiskey with a distinct pot still character, elevated by the lush, sweet nuances of this Italian dessert wine.

Nose: Delightfully oily with layers of cooked dark fruit, ripe red grapes, crisp apple, and a touch of cinnamon bark. Peppercorn spice and dusty oak provide a robust backdrop.
