The pinnacle of Glenglassaugh’s Serpentine Coastal Cask Collection, this 51-Year-Old Highland Single Malt is a true marvel of time, place, and craft. Discovered after the distillery's long silence and matured in a single Oloroso sherry puncheon, this rare expression is the oldest ever released by Glenglassaugh to date. Hand-selected by Master Blender Rachel Barrie, it embodies over half a century of quiet coastal maturation — shaped by sea breezes, rich Spanish oak, and the graceful influence of time. Bottled at 44.2% ABV, it is a profound whisky experience, layered with depth, elegance, and history.

Appearance: Molten bronze — deep, glowing, and rich with maturity.

Nose: Opulent and complex, unfolding with sun-dried raisins, blood orange preserve, and maraschino cherry. Subtle undercurrents of sandalwood, spiced vetiver, and a whisper of sea salt lend aromatic depth and coastal character.

Palate: Enveloping and luxurious. Raisin balsamic and blackberry jus dominate the entry, evolving into rich layers of salted treacle, orange marmalade, and sloe syrup. The sherry influence is both bold and seamlessly integrated.

Finish: Long and contemplative, with a lingering sweetness of dried fruits, spice, and coastal salinity that fades like the last glow of a sunset over the Moray Firth.
