The 2022 blends 94% Cabernet Sauvignon with a little Merlot and Cabernet Franc, drawn from mountain and valley-floor vineyards in Oak Knoll, Calistoga, Rutherford, Oakville and St. Helena. It spends 16 months in French oak, half of it new. Dark red berries and cardamom open the nose, and the palate builds fig jam and boysenberry pie on firm, dusty tannins before a long, focused finish. Scored 92 by James Suckling and Wine Enthusiast. The 2022 is offered in 375ml, 750ml and 1.5-liter bottles; the 3-liter is the 2023 vintage. 14.5% ABV.
