Color: Blanco is crystal clear, Rosa is pale pink, Reposado is light gold, Añejo is deep amber.

Nose: Blanco: cooked agave, lime zest and white pepper. Rosa: strawberry, agave and a hint of red wine from the Napa Cabernet barrels. Reposado: vanilla, honey and light oak. Añejo: caramel, dried fruit and toasted French oak.

Palate: Código 1530 is a Los Bajos tequila with no additives. Blanco is clean and peppery; Rosa is the same blanco rested one month in Cabernet barrels, soft and fruity; Reposado spends six months in French white oak and turns creamy; Añejo goes eighteen months and comes out rich and dessert-like.

Finish: Crisp on Blanco, soft and fruity on Rosa, smooth and warm on Reposado, long and sweet on Añejo.
