Clase Azul Reposado & Don Julio 1942 Anejo Combo
Clase Azul Reposado and Don Julio 1942 Añejo Combo pairs two of the most requested bottles in ultra-premium tequila. Both are 100% Weber Blue Agave, both sit at the top of their respective houses, and both are routinely specified by name in top bars and restaurants worldwide — but their production styles diverge in ways worth tasting side by side.
Clase Azul Reposado is slow-cooked for a minimum of 72 hours in traditional stone ovens, fermented with a proprietary yeast, then rested for 8 months in hand-selected oak. The nose opens with subtle jasmine and honey; the palate delivers vanilla, sweet cooked agave, and a soft, rounded finish. The iconic hand-painted ceramic decanter is made by artisans in Santa María Canchesdá and presented in its own gift box. Don Julio 1942 Añejo carries longer oak contact — two-and-a-half years in American white oak — and pours richer: warm caramel, toasted oak, vanilla, and a long, elegant finish built for sipping neat.
Run the two bottles as a blanco-of-reposado-vs-añejo masterclass, or split them for a gift that covers both extremes of premium agave. Decanters this beautiful rarely stay hidden in the back of the cabinet. Pair with our Riedel tequila glassware for a full presentation.
