Buffalo Trace Bourbon is the flagship expression from Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky — one of the oldest continuously operating distilleries in the United States, with roots tracing back more than 200 years. Named for the ancient buffalo migration trail that crossed the Kentucky River at the distillery site, Buffalo Trace Bourbon is the recipient of more than 500 international awards and the base of a portfolio that includes Eagle Rare, Weller, Blanton's, and the Antique Collection.

On the nose, the bourbon leads with vanilla, mint, and a hint of molasses. The palate builds in brown sugar, toffee, soft oak, and a warm spice that runs through a medium-length finish carrying light leather and cocoa.
