Long revered by the Ardbeg Committee, this special release answers the call of peat lovers by presenting the classic Ardbeg 10 profile in its purest, most powerful form—straight from the cask.

Matured in American oak ex-bourbon barrels, this whisky captures the distillery’s signature “peaty paradox,” where intense smoke meets surprising sweetness. At cask strength, every element is heightened: the maritime character, the earthy peat, and the underlying malt richness all surge forward with remarkable depth and complexity.

This is Ardbeg in full voice—bold, smoky, and unapologetically expressive—yet still balanced by a core of elegance and craftsmanship.

Nose: Deep and commanding, with rich aromas of peat smoke, sea spray, and earthy spice. Layers of tar, creosote, and coffee grounds intertwine with toffee sweetness. Subtle notes of vanilla and lime cut through the smoke, while a splash of water reveals hints of fennel, bonfire embers, and herbal complexity.

Palate: Full-bodied and mouth-filling, delivering an intense wave of smoky sweetness at first sip—think smoked cinnamon and paprika.
