Alma del Jaguar Reposado Tequila is produced at NOM 1414 — the Feliciano Vivanco Distillery in Arandas, Jalisco — using the same proprietary blend of wild yeast and champagne yeast that defines the lineup's Blanco. After distillation from 100% highland blue agave, the Reposado rests two months in American White Oak barrels before finishing one additional month in French Oak. The spirit is bottled additive-free, unfiltered, and by hand at the distillery.
On the nose, aromas of vanilla, ripe banana, and cooked agave surface alongside a lacing of caramel. The palate follows with those approachable fruit and confection notes, then transitions to a long, dry oak finish — a character shaped by the interplay of American and French cooperage.
