Twenty-eight months puts it deep into añejo territory without crossing into extra añejo, so the roasted agave still shows through the caramel, dried fig and cocoa, with a long, rounded oak finish at 40% ABV. The decanter is sculpted and painted by hand as a Day of the Dead skull, a sugar-skull face on the front and floral filigree on the back, so every bottle is a one-of-one piece.
